| TGCF’s Children's Resource Exchange Center — Connecting the Need to the Remedy |
|
While there are many outstanding programs serving children globally, there is no center of operations that connects philanthropic resources directly to the children in need.
There is no lack of care and compassion for these children. There are more than enough resources in the world—food, expertise and money. But few of these resources are accessible to the neediest. There is a disconnection and lack of coordination between people and organizations. There are millions of children in the world who live without benefit of parental love and guidance as well as those who are disadvantaged from lack of resources or natural disasters —left bereft, without enough to eat, without medical care, education or vocational opportunities—without hope, without futures. What has transpired has not worked efficiently. However…The Grace Children’s Foundation has developed a systematic method of healing and learning through its three core programs: medical, education and humanitarian aid and an innovative, coordinating mechanism to deliver vital resources, TGCF’s Children’s Resource Exchange Center. This mechanism alleviates the constant struggle and often frustrating search for appropriate resources for responding to both emergency and long-term care needs. Chinese and international partner organizations have come together to ensure the success and impact of this replicable model. Those who dedicate themselves to the implementation of this model are acknowledged as leaders of a systematic approach to healing and learning. TGCF’s Children’s Resource Exchange Center offers a template for other countries where there are children in need. ![]() TGCF’s Children's Resource Exchange Center functions:
