Considering the global challenges brought on by the COVID-19 Pandemic, and in response to a call to action to end the social inequity in healthcare solutions for vulnerable children in America, GCF and its 1 TO 1 MILLION campaign will focus on underserved children living in New York City for the foreseeable future. These children are for a variety of reasons unable to access the vital resources necessary for their wellbeing.
Based on more than two decades of frontline experience employing the CRE model, an ongoing collaboration with New York City healthcare systems, hospitals, social welfare professionals and our current work with innovators at Microsoft, GCF is teaming up with WebMD/Medscape Pediatrics, Ronald McDonald House New York and other strategic Partners in Healing who play an instrumental role in providing full circle access for children in need. This unique partnership will not only bring about systemic change for the children in New York City, but will accelerate access and delivery of pediatric healthcare for children on a global scale.
The data and insights gained through 1 TO 1 MILLION will help to populate the CRE model, providing the underpinning for the digital platform that will be the go-to resource to support medical care and non-medical services required for any child of any background, living anywhere in the world.
