Hana Porter

Program Development

Hana is a Program Development Advisor where she works on day to day operations as well as the further development of the Children’s Resource Exchange (CRE). In order to inform the emerging CRE digital platform, GCF is working on a pilot program, 1 TO 1 MILLION. The program will connect up to 100 children to vital healthcare resources either here in the United States or in the regions where they reside.

Hana was raised in New York City where she developed her passion for the fine arts and social justice. In 2014, she graduated from Skidmore College with a B.S. in Studio Art, and following worked in film production and art consulting.

In the summer of 2017, Hana decided to redirect her energy towards working with underserved populations and found GCF. What drew her most to this work was the diversity of clientele as well as the CRE model. Not only does the Foundation strive to connect any child in the world to medical resources, regardless of their ethnicity or socioeconomic background, but they are at the beginning stages of scaling their CRE model into a connective digital platform that will fill the gap and streamline global healthcare. Hana is attending Columbia’s School of Social Work where she is studying International Social Welfare and Services to Immigrants and Refugees.
