Nancy Robertson is President and Chief Executive Officer of Grace Children’s Foundation (GCF), a New York City-based nonprofit she co-founded in 1997. For nearly three decades, she has worked to help children, families and those responsible for their wellbeing overcome barriers to medical care by connecting them with physicians, hospitals, nonprofit organizations and individuals committed to improving the lives of children in need. Through that work, she came to recognize both the global scale of unmet pediatric healthcare needs and the urgent need for better systems to connect children with care.

What began as a single child in need evolved into a global network of medical and humanitarian collaborations spanning multiple countries and healthcare systems. Through thousands of interactions with children, families and medical professionals, Nancy gained firsthand insight into the challenges that often prevent vulnerable children from accessing specialized care, critical resources and timely intervention.

Drawing on those experiences, Nancy is leading the development of the Children’s Resource Exchange (CRE), an emerging pediatric healthcare coordination service designed to connect children in need with medical expertise and people and organizations ready to help. Combining human conscientiousness with technology, the CRE seeks to reduce fragmentation, improve communication and help ensure that children do not have to rely on chance or personal connections to access vital healthcare resources.

Under Nancy’s leadership, GCF has worked with leading hospitals, physicians, governments, nonprofit organizations, foundations and corporate partners to help children facing complex medical conditions, traumatic injuries, congenital birth anomalies and other significant healthcare challenges. Her work increasingly focuses on transforming nearly three decades of frontline experience into scalable infrastructure that seeks to help connect any child of any background living anywhere in the world with the medical expertise, care pathways and resources essential to their health and future.
