Keenan Fine

MD Candidate at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine

Keenan was born and raised in California, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCLA in 2018. After completing his undergraduate degree, he dedicated a year to working with public school special education programs in the Los Angeles area, where he advocated for improved behavioral and medical care for underserved students and their communities. His commitment to public service and healthcare led him to pursue a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where he furthered his expertise in health and wellness. During this time, he also worked as a research coordinator at the New York Nutrition and Obesity Research Center, focusing on the implementation and efficacy of intermittent fasting regimens using smartphone technology.

Currently, Keenan is a medical student at Northwestern University, where he is studying to become a plastic surgeon. His passion for healthcare, combined with his dedication to public health and improving the delivery of care, continues to drive his journey in medicine. He is particularly excited about his work with the Grace Children’s Foundation, where he can apply his background and skills to positively impact children in need. Keenan’s experiences has shaped his approach to medicine, and he looks forward to a career focused on improving healthcare delivery for all.
